Compassionate Care ALS
Description of resource: Compassionate Care ALS directly supports the families and communities caring for a loved one with ALS. Our support responds to each family’s unique needs and often includes making home visits and offering intimate dialogue on the sensitive topics of disease progression and coping with dying and death. Compassionate Care ALS has provided emotional support, integrative therapies, education and instruction, a wheelchair accessible van program, a youth program, and the Gordon T. Heald ALS Fund for durable goods to countless families since 1998.
