Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care

The Coalition formed in 2016 in response to the growing importance of end of life care, and the need for new strategies to encourage informed decision-making and advance planning. More than seventy Massachusetts-based organizations have come together to form the Coalition.

Honoring Choices Massachusetts

Honoring Choices Massachusetts is a valuable resource to help inform and empower adults to make health care choices that reflect and honor one’s own care goals, values and choices. Honoring Choices provides free downloadable health care planning information and easy-to-use tool kits to make a health care plan to promote everyday wellness, to plan for the future and receive quality care throughout one’s life.

Healthcare Decisions Month

By way of marking this year’s 10th anniversary of National Healthcare Decisions Day, the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness and its members are working to celebrate and expand on this milestone, designating April as Massachusetts Healthcare Decisions Month.
