Description of resource: The Adult Palliative Care Program and the Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - With a focus on helping patients and families have the best quality of life, the Palliative Care Programs specialize in communication needs and in the management of pain and other physical, emotional, social, and spiritual concerns that patients and their families face as they cope with a life-threatening illness.
